I’m still a little shocked that so many people still don’t know what the lovely contraption called an instapot is! I can tell you it is a quick-cooking busy family saving dream! We use our instapot several times a week since my husband and I both work and the kids are busy with sports. And, the more we talk about it with our friends the more we asked what we cook in it. First, off if you haven’t heard of an instapot before I’m about to shake up your world! An instapot is like crockpots from the old school days BUT it’s WAY BETTER and easier to use. This device has saved us and made our lives way easier. The instapot can have frozen meat cooked and ready in 20 or 30 mins tops and has several settings for the different types of meats or items you can cook. Some of the automatic settings include stew, to poultry, to beef. And, then you can adjust the recommended times from there. Some instapots also hook into your wifi and other home automation devices. There are loads of different things you can cook in an instapot. As you will see below it has several settings. AND, there is even an app! It will give you all kinds of recipes you can cook in it! Here are a few busy family cooking ideas we came up with too.
How Hard Is It To Use An Instapot?
The name should give you a hint as to who easy it is to use. But, the instapot has several settings based on what you want to cook. So, if you are doing a stew ( meat), Soups, cooking chicken ( poultry), cakes, etc. Then you can set the start time, pressure levels, or adjust the total time. We normally only hit the Stew setting and bump the time up a little bit and start cooking. So, you can get as fancy with it as you want or keep it simple. Plus, some of wifi-enabled as well.
How Hard Is It Clean An Instapot?
So, you’ve made your meal, eaten and now it’s time for the dreaded cleanup. The old school days of trying to clean out that crockpot were a major pain! Well, with the instapot cleaning is so much easier. The inner pot comes out! So, you can remove the inner pot and put it in the sink to be washed or place it in the lower rake of your dishwasher. The other small pieces easily fit in the silverware caddy and then you are all cleaned up
