Almond Butter Recipe

Here is a simple recipe for making your own healthy almond butter at home:

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of raw almonds
  • 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon of honey or maple syrup (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Spread the almonds on a baking sheet and roast them for about 10-15 minutes or until they’re golden brown and fragrant.
  3. Once the almonds are roasted, let them cool for a few minutes.
  4. Place the almonds in a food processor and process them for about 3-5 minutes or until they become smooth and creamy.
  5. Scrape down the sides of the food processor as needed.
  6. If you want to add a little sweetness, you can add honey or maple syrup and process for another minute.
  7. If you like a little salt, you can add 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt and process for another minute.
  8. Once you have reached the desired consistency, transfer the almond butter to a jar and store it in the refrigerator for up to 3 months.

This recipe is a basic one, you can add some cinnamon or other spices to make it more flavorful. Additionally, you can use roasted or unroasted almonds, depending on your preference.
